Margaret C. Langlie MARGARET C. LANGLIE earned her law degree, cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law in 1982. She concentrates her part time practice in estate planning and probate.

Prior to attending law school Margaret was a journalist and freelance writer; managed a residential construction business in Alaska; and taught high school English for 10 years. She was a founding director of a community bank in Woodinville and served on a regional bank board of directors. Margaret has served as board member and advisor to numerous nonprofit organizations. She is currently on the Board of Peace Island Volunteers and a member of the Grants Committee of the SJCF Women's Fund. She enjoys volunteering for San Juan Community Theatre and San Juan Preservation Trust.

Margaret and Peter have three children and eight grandchildren spread around Washington, Oregon and Alaska. They also have been adopted by Charley, the happiest dog in the world, who was rescued in 2015 and immediately joined the office staff. Margaret enjoys reading and all things outdoors: biking, "camping," gardening and hiking.
